REFUTATION OF LIES TOLD BY HON ABDULMUMIN JIBRIN, ON MEDIA BRIEFING BY MEMBERS OF HOUSE COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS:

My attention has been drawn to a Statement issued by the disgraced and sacked former Chairman of Appropriation Committee , Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin, wherein he falsely, recklessly and maliciously claimed that I distributed $20,000 to each member of the Committee to address the media where they stated their grouse against him. I wish to state that I did not at any time meet or hand over any money of any sort to any member of the House Appropriations Committee. This accusation is not only a lie but pure fiction, a figment of his imagination, which can only come from a man whose soul is deeply corrupted. It is really shocking that this kind of despicable character could slip through the political process and become an Honourable member of the House of Representatives, a highly respected institution, where we all passed through. This has confirmed that Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin, is a serial blackmailer, a man with the basest of motives, whose sanity has become questionable. For the avoidance o

MY RESPONSE TO THE PRESS CONFERENCE ADDRESSED BY 9 MEMBERS OUT OF THE 40 MEMBER APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

All the accusations they leveled against me are not in any way different from the bunch of lies contained in the shameless statement released by Speaker Dogara and the 3 other principal officers through Hon Namdas which I have fully provided response. But to prove my innocence, I have resolved that I will respond to any accusation or allegation leveled against me until like the corrupt Speaker Dogara, rather than respond to the 25 allegations I leveled against him and others, he has resorted to use legal gimmicks to stall the allegations. Mr Speaker, you cannot swipe such hefty allegations under the carpet. You think Nigerians are not watching? First, only 9 out of the 40 appropriation committee members agreed to participate in such a dishonorable press conference after  shamelessly collecting $20,000 each distributed to them yesterday at the Speakers residence by his Deputy Chief of staff Hon CID Maduabum. My same Deputy Hon Chris Azubogu ( you will remember his history with Hon Hemb

2016 budget padding:Reps appropriation committee disowns Jibrin

The appropriation committee of the house of representatives has said that the former chairman of the committee, Abdulmumin Jibrin worked on the 2016 budget with a consultant in an undisclosed location for three weeks. The Deputy Chairman of the committee, Chris Azubogu, stated this when he spoke to journalists in Abuja. He explained that based on Jibrin's unilateral decisions on behalf of the committee, complains were made to speaker that he should be removed from his position as chairman. He added Jibrin allotted all decisions to himself without conferring with members. He stated that for the avoidance of doubt, a comprehensive collation of the reports of the budget from the various standing committees of the house was done by the appropriation committee which was in the process of deliberation when the ousted chairman unilaterally hi-jacked the entire budget to a hideout with his consultant without the consent of the committee. While stating that there was no offence known t

Dogara forced me to insert N20billion into 2016 Budget – Jibrin

Ousted chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has made more shocking revelations on how 10 standing committees secretly injected constituency projects worth N284 billion into the 2016 budget without the knowledge of the House. The embattled lawmaker also claimed that the speaker, Yakubu Dogara, allegedly convinced him to ship over N20 billion into the budget through Service Wide Vote. In a statement issued in Abuja, Jibrin alleged that some cabals had hijacked the Speaker to always do their bidding. He, however, said the Majority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, and three other principal officers were not part of the secret deal, adding that the budget inputs inserted on their names were exclusively carried out by the speaker, his deputy, Yussuff Lasun; Chief Whip, Ado Doguwa and the Minority Leader, Leo Ogor. His statement reads in full: “I am compelled again for the purpose of emphasis to state categorically that my allegations are ag

WAR: Nigeria Linked To Failed Turkey Coup

Nigeria has been indicted in the investigation of pro-coup detainees after a July 15 military coup attempt in Turkey. A Nigerian bank was said to have been used by the suspected coup plotters, to manage more than $2 billion money used for planning the coup. This is expected to affect diplomatic ties between the two countries and the leaders, Nigerian Muhammadu Buhari and Turkish Recep Tayyip Erdogan. According to reports from the Turkish media, the Nigeria branch of the United Bank of Africa (UBA) was the main base for the last six-months of money transactions for the coup plotters. Following the aborted Turkish coup, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had vowed to rid the country of any ‘virus’ that are linked to the botched fatal power seizure attempt. Those involved in the ongoing legal process, have reportedly named a former U.S. commander of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), John F. Campbell as the organizer of the coup plot. ISAF is currently a NATO-led securit

THE CORRUPT SPEAKER YAKUBU DOGARA AND HIS 3-MAN CABAL

PRESS STATEMENT Honourable colleagues and fellow Nigerians, I wish to make further revelations. Speaker Yakubu Dogara and his senior cabal namely Deputy Speaker Lasun, Whip Doguwa and Minority leader Ogor has promoted corruption so badly in the House that if President Muhammadu Buhari with his disdain for corruption and corrupt people have the slightest idea, he will ban the QUARTET permanently from the Villa before they eventually allow for proper and unbiased investigation by the House. Mr Speaker and Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun diverted millions of naira all in the name of paying for guest houses and official residence. The issue became so messy that the Deputy Speaker openly accused Hon Herma Hembe of short changing them of millions of naira in the deal to the shock of many Hon Members. Speaker Yakubu Dogara frequently abuse his office amounting to conflict of interest by soliciting for inappropriate favours from agencies and Multinational companies. He forced an agency to grant

Ikorodu locals beat child abuser to death, burn his body

Residents of Ikorodu, Lagos state, have eventually caught and killed a notorious paedophile who terrorised their neighbourhood for months. Warning: graphic content! The yet-to-be identified man, known only as “Badoo”, has been detained and punished hours after raping an 8-year-old girl. The sexual abuse reportedly took place during a celestial church vigil on Sunday, July 24 The locals hunted for the criminal immediately after one of the church members found the young victim helplessly lying at the church premises. The criminal was nabbed while hiding inside a primary school. He was stoned to death, whereupon his body put on fire. Jungle justice is an extrajudicial punishment by an informal group. It is most often used to characterise informal public executions by a mob in order to punish an alleged transgressor. This form of justice frequently occurs in Africa where people still believe in the old method of taking justice into their own hands.
