Immunity clause Bill : House passes into second reading.

In resumption of the 2 weeks recess,  the House of Representatives  has passed into second reading a bill for an act to alter section 308 0f 1999 constitution  (Immunity Clause).

The bill was sponsored by the House minority leader  Leo Ogor, who explained that it will be meant for only a selected few.
Opposing the bill,House Majority Leader Femi Gbajabiamila said altering the constitution  to provide immunity clause was totally uncalled for.
The House against the contribution of the Leader however raised their voices putting  the house in a chaos.
After much debates the bull was forcefully passed by the Speaker House of Representatives without due process.
It was however referred to the special committee on constitution and Review.
