Youth Bill: Nigerian Youth urges House to hasten passage.

Nigeria has  one of the most youthful populations in the world with over 60 percent of its 170 million population  as youth.
This was made known at public a debate in Abuja on the "not too young to run bill"  which is currently being considered for passage by the House of Representatives.
The bill which seeks to lower the constitutional  age requirement for contesting for elections in Nigeria has been enjoying laudable supports from various groups of youths.
Founder of the "I support Not too young to run" Non- Governmental organisation also the Sponsor of the billl,Tony Nwoku called on the Nigerian youths too be fearless and learn to stand for what they believe in.
CEO connected development Hamza Lawal, said the aim of the campaign is to promote the bill to mainstream independent candidacy into Nigeria's electoral process.
According to African Union about 65 percent of the total population of Africa is below the age of 35years,and over 35 percent is between the ages of 15 and 35 years making Africa the most youthful continent.
