Legislators condemns disrespect to NASS.

The House of Representatives has urged the executive arm of government  to abide by the provisions of the Constitution  of the federal  republic  of Nigeria. 
This was reached after a matter of urgent public importance titled" urgent need to safeguard  the nation's democracy and protect the integrity and independence of the National Assembly" raised on the floor of the  house .
Lawmaker who sponsored the motion ,Tajudeen Yusuf decried  that the legislative arm of government is been disrespected too many times and if not looked into worse would happen.
He condemned the continuing disregard of the decisions of the house  on Kogi Crisis, and also the failure of various heads of stakeholders to appear when invited, prosecution of presiding officers of the Senate, over alleged  forgery of senate rules, MTN fine among others.
The House however without debate adopted the motion with a voice vote  as they also urged President Muhammed  Buhari from taking steps that will cripple the National Assembly.
