A certain Facebook user Don C. has called on Nigerians to intervene in the case of a 23-year old man Tope Abiodun, who he claimed was sentenced to Death by Hanging over theft of a smartphone worth N87,000 at the time. In a post,  Don said Tope, a Kogi state indigene, committed the crime when he was 18, and has been in prison for the past four years. He disclosed that Tope, who confessed to have committed the crime, said that he stole to take care of his younger ones. Cati Domitrovich, 19, with her best friend Alex Nagle, 17, from Texas, faked a proposal at a fancy restaurant just to get free dessert. Domitrovich said that on Saturday they wanted to cheer themselves up after a bad week, so they went out to a fancy dinner. "We just had to act like a couple the entire time," Domitrovich said. When she went to the bathroom, Nagle told the server that he was going to propose. He asked her to take photos. Domitrovich said that the restaurant was convinced. At about 9pm last night, popular Northern musical act Morell was robbed around Central Area, Abuja. According to his manager, he was heading to Sheraton Hotel for an appointment. As they rode past Silverbird cinemas, the Uber driver suddenly parked saying that his fuel was finished. After deliberating with the driver for a while, in disgust Morell and a friend who was accompanying him for the appointment went out of the car. Immediately, two men came out of the dark bush nearby and attacked them. The armed robbers were able to get away with a substantial sum of money, mobile phones and other important documents in their custody. The case has been reported to Uber office in Abuja and the police. The driver is in police custody and the case is been investigated.

Three Kids of the same parents have been abandoned in Mushin as their parents have been arrested and remanded in prison custody in Lagos. Their parents, Taofik Aremu and his wife, Latifat, were arraigned before a Lagos Task Force and Magistrate court for committing different offences and have been remanded in prison for the past five weeks. While Taofik was remanded at a prison in Badagry, his wife is cooling her head at Kirikiri prison. Their three Kids, four – year – old kudirick and the twins Taye and Kehinde who are two years of age, are left to their fate at 13 Agoro street in Mushin where their reside. Susan Elya According to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Susan Elya is wanted in a case of criminal breach of trust and obtaining money by false pretence. The suspect, an Australian, allegedly collected the sum of N20million from the complainant, promising to help change the money to dollars. However, after receiving the funds, all efforts to reach Elya failed. The suspect is at large while all efforts to apprehend her has proved futile. Elya is 39 years old and dark in complexion. Chigozi Iwuala woke from coma days after he was shot by a trigger-happy police officer   The fourth person who was shot by a killer ex-police officer, Wilson Ufere, last Thursday along Anara - Umuahia expressway in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State has finally regained consciousness.   The victim, Chigozi Iwuala was nearly killed by the trigger-happy police­man, Sergeant Wil­son Ufere who has been dismissed from the Police Force for shooting four un­armed youths, and killing 16-year-old Obinna Iwuoha instantly in Imo State.     Ufere, had last Thursday at about 5:30pm at Ugwu Omiri Lawyer area, on the busy Anara-Umuahia Ex­pressway while on a road duty with two other col­leagues, shot at a group of youths on a church proces­sion. He killed Obinna Iwuoha in­stantly, and left three others gravely wounded.

Comedian Adiri Daniel has demanded for justice after he was arrested and locked for an alleged “Impersonation”. The comedian revealed that he was on his way to shoot a comedy skit video with his signature Police Uniform in his bag when the officers arrested him. He was accused of impersonation the officer of the law and was locked up at Igando Police Station. He claims the DPO demanded for N500,000 before he could be release.. But it was of course beaten down to N200,000.
